James has a BA in Human Resources and he is an active duty Air Force member stationed here in Colorado and one of our coaches for the kid’s youth class taught here at Way of Jiu Jitsu. He wrestled during junior high and high school while his Jiu Jitsu journey started when stationed in South Korea in 2005 when he was invited by other military members to train. After years of casually training off and on, he began to commit himself to the art starting in late 2013 with a focus on competition.
